Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting! Psalm 139:23–24
Today marks the beginning of 40 days of praying together as a church family. We want to see the Lord fill us as his people with his presence and power, and to do “far more abundantly than all that we ask or think according to the power within us” (Ephesians 3:20). Before we ask him to work powerfully through us, let’s begin by asking him to work powerfully in us.
Prayer prompt: Pray for God to reveal specific sins that need repentance.
