Day 6 | Humility

Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates reproof is stupid. Proverbs 12:1 

Nobody likes to be disciplined. Being on the receiving end of corrective action is rarely an enjoyable experience. And yet, because none of us are perfect, there will be times and places in our lives in which we all will need to receive the Lord’s corrective discipline—and in his infinite wisdom, he often ordains for that to come from the words of others — a spouse, a friend, a pastor, a fellow church member, etc. May we be a people who receive correction with humility.
