Day 29 | Unbelievers

Brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved. Romans 10:1

We are entering our fifth week of praying together as a church family. If you’ve been following along, we’ve been praying in concentric circles. We began by praying for ourselves, then continued “praying outward” for our families, then our church family, then our church leaders.

This week we will continue moving outward as we pray together. Our mission at Heartland City is to make disciples of Jesus in the heartland of Kentucky and to the ends of the earth—so we will spend this week praying for our community.

To get us moving in that direction, here is a simple but profound question: Who do you know that’s close to you but far from God? It may be a family member, a neighbor, a coworker, a classmate, or someone else in your circle of influence.

As names and faces come to mind, let’s pray for those people today—that the Lord would open their eyes and begin to draw them to himself, and that he would prepare their hearts to hear and respond to the gospel.

Prayer prompt: Pray by name for unbelieving people you know in the places you live, work, and play.
